Position Overview

The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine and general maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment, along with groundskeeping tasks. Responsibilities include using power tools, completing unit turns, troubleshooting appliances, and providing excellent customer service to residents and staff. The role involves acting as a Redwood ambassador, ensuring a positive experience for residents during work order repairs and communication.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities, buildings, and grounds via work orders
• Prepare vacated apartments for new residents efficiently and professionally
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall tasks
• Handle minor plumbing repairs, appliance servicing, and emergency maintenance as scheduled
• Follow safety standards at all times
• Perform snow removal and other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC Certification
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Experience in apartment maintenance
• Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and computers

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds and sit, stand, bend, walk as needed
