What You'll Do
- Complete inspections, work orders, turns, and tasks across technical areas per policies, ensuring high customer service standards.
- Solve routine and some complex problems, assisting in all technical areas as needed.
- Notify the Service Manager of parts or supplies needed for work orders or tasks.
- Participate in on-call schedules, respond to emergency calls, and document work accordingly.
- Maintain current certifications and complete required training.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors as instructed.
- Maintain accurate time sheets.
- Communicate with the Leasing Office and Service Manager regarding community or resident concerns.
- Keep the community and work areas clean, neat, and safe.
- Represent the company professionally, adhering to dress codes.
- Maintain community equipment and vehicles per standards.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience, or trade school certification with 1 year of experience.
- EPA 608 Type I & II certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, and related technical areas.
- Ability to use smart devices and organizational tracking systems.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
