Job summary

Monarch Investment And Management Group is seeking a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician at 21 South at Parkview Apartments in Baton Rouge. You’ll handle work orders, prepare units for residents, perform painting, carpentry, and preventative maintenance.

The role offers pay of $19-23 per hour plus bonuses up to $3,000+ yearly, as well as PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, tool reimbursement, rent discount, and on-call bonuses; schedule is Monday–Friday with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience.
• 6+ months apartment maintenance experience.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair skills.
• HVAC repair experience and EPA certification.
• Pool experience and CPO certification preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service mindset.
• Willingness to complete basic safety training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Completing work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Preparing units between residents (make-readies).
• Painting, staining, and light carpentry.
• Preventative maintenance and exterior repairs.
• Occasional on-call coverage at one property.
• Supporting housing inspections and safety protocols.

Location: 21 South at ParkviewApartments, Baton Rouge
Pay: $19-23/hour + Bonuses $3,000+ a year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-5PM with on-call rotation every other week
