Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to enhance community integrity while delivering exceptional customer service. You will interact with residents, guests, and team members, performing preventive maintenance, make-ready tasks, and repairs across the property.

Requirements include 1 year in apartment maintenance or a related trade, EPA/HVAC/CPO certifications, a valid driver’s license, and basic hand tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• Own basic set of hand tools.
• Ability to read service requests and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and emergencies.
• Adhere to policies and work relationships.
• Ability to travel to other properties as needed and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance programs.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
• Participate in risk management and safety programs.
