Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to enhance community integrity while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include preparing make-ready apartments, handling service requests, and performing regular maintenance across common areas.

Requirements include 1+ year in apartment maintenance, EPA/HVAC I & II, CPO certifications, and a valid driver’s license. Willingness to travel and read schedules with basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• At least 1 year in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Own basic set of hand tools.
• Able to read service requests and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willing to travel within metro areas and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and team.
• Participate in risk management and safety programs.
