Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. in Durham, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance service requests across the community, including make-readies, groundskeeping, pool upkeep and preventative tasks.

The role emphasizes customer service and teamwork to create exceptional resident experiences. You will respond to requests, coordinate with the maintenance supervisor, perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry work, and prepare vacant apartments for move-in while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience preferred in apartment industry.
• EPA Type I, II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• High school diploma preferred; trade school certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment and make-readies.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and perform repairs as needed.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC and related systems.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, and safety compliance.
• Document service activities in Onesite and maintain records.
