Job summary

JES Holdings, including the Fairway Management (FWM) division, is seeking a Maintenance Tech II for Baldwin Park properties in Milledgeville, GA. This part-time role (8am to 5pm, Monday–Friday) focuses on upkeep, timely work orders, and proactive maintenance to keep communities in top condition.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in multifamily or related environments and hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

Qualifications

High School diploma or the equivalent is required.
3+ years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building operating systems (eg. door entry systems, fire suppression).
Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.
HVAC EPA Type II Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Regularly troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC as part of completing unit turns, work orders, and preventive maintenance.
Perform general repairs independently.
Maintain exceptional curb appeal.
Complete daily resident work orders.
Be available for after-hours on-call.
Must have applicable maintenance tools.
Conduct unit make-readies with painting, carpet cleaning, and general cleaning as needed.
Perform quarterly preventive maintenance checks.
Assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
Pick up supplies from area vendors while operating a registered and insured vehicle.
Reports to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for all tasks.
