Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Service Technician 2 to support Highlands, The Club at Eagle Point, and Wildwood properties. The role covers vacant and occupied apartment maintenance, including painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.

The technician will manage time effectively, provide excellent customer service to residents, associates, and vendors, and participate in on-call rotations and property improvements. A strong mechanical aptitude is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years maintenance experience required.
• 3-5 years painting and drywall repairs required.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing knowledge essential.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy including painting, drywall, and repairs.
• Independently perform system repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances.
• Carry out carpentry, drywall repairs, and interior/exterior painting as needed.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks to enhance asset value and integrity.
• Maintain pools and monitor chemical balance when applicable.
• Conduct daily grounds maintenance and snow removal as required.
• Use company apps and travel between properties as assigned.

Highlands, The Club at Eagle Point, WildwoodPosition Summary:As a Service Technician 2, you are a multi-faceted maintenance professional with proven success providing quality service in a timely manner to our residents and community. Each day, you will both work in vacant apartments and occupied apartments, performing tasks including painting, drywall repairs and executing maintenance repairs requested by the company. In addition, this role is responsible for conducting efficient daily maintenance tasks while increasing the asset value and integrity of your community. You are skilled and efficient and are able to handle complex maintenance repairs on appliances and building systems. A successful Service Technician 2 is able to manage their time effectively, is detail oriented, a trustworthy team player, and takes pride in their work.
