Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Service Technician 1 in Kirkland, WA to prepare vacant apartments and provide timely quality service to residents. This role involves painting, drywall repairs, plumbing and electrical tasks, and basic system maintenance across occupied and vacant units.

You will work independently, manage time well, and contribute to asset value while delivering excellent customer service. A valid vehicle and flexibility for on‑call rotations are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years maintenance experience required.
• 1+ years of painting and drywall repairs preferred.
• Solid mechanical aptitude required.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy (painting, drywall, repairs).
• Perform basic system repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances).
• Carpentry, drywall, interior/exterior painting tasks.
• Maintain safety and order while performing tasks.
