Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair property buildings and grounds. The role includes preparing vacant units, managing tools and inventory, and ensuring safety and professional standards are met.

The position requires hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus ability to follow detailed instructions and operate power tools. On-call responsiveness and commitment to property upkeep are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the property and the preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand and report unusual or extraordinary circumstances.
• Maintain the required property uniform and professional appearance.
• Be aware of OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day and respond to service requests.
