Job summary

smcexternalcareers is seeking a Service Technician in the United States to join our on-site maintenance team. This full-time role requires diagnosing problems across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repairs, with a rotational on-call schedule and a 50% live-on discount.

You will document service requests, maintain inventory, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of maintenance-related experience.
• Type II CFC license or higher.
• Completion of basic maintenance classes and on-the-job training within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Address, follow up and document service requests.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.
• Diagnose HVAC problems and repair or replace components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC units.
• Complete scheduled preventive inspections.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Repair grounds and drainage.
• Ensure work and documentation meet quality standards.
• Maintain tools per company checklist.
