Qualifications

• Understanding of basic mathematical and measurement principles
• Ability to lift 80 pounds to the shoulder and carry
• Working knowledge of boiler room components
• HVAC installation, troubleshooting, maintenance
• Electrical work on systems up to 277 Volts and 200 Amps
• Plumbing skills including unclogging drains and pipe repairs
• Carpentry and ceramic/drywall knowledge including fixtures and tiling

Responsibilities

• Address, follow up and document service requests
• Maintain an inventory of adequate supplies
• Diagnose HVAC problems and repair components
• Perform preventive maintenance on fan coil and convector HVAC units
• Complete additional preventive maintenance inspections as scheduled
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
• Make repairs to grounds and drainage
• Ensure all work and documentation comply with internal quality control standards
• Maintain personal supply of tools as designated by SMC's Tool Checklist
• Address emergency maintenance as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
• Contribute to community and company engagement efforts
