Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair apartment homes and property facilities in North Carolina. You will diagnose and fix HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues while following preventative maintenance plans and updating residents after service visits.

Applicants should have 1–3 years of multifamily maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, and EPA Type II or Universal certification (or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire).

Qualifications

One to three years of experience in multifamily property management or maintenance.
HVAC experience required
EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair to apartment homes and facilities.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units and related systems.
Repair electrical outlets, fixtures, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
Follows preventative maintenance schedules and communicates with residents after repairs.
