Job summary

Brookside Properties in Evansville, IN seeks a Maintenance Technician for Manning Apartment Homes. You’ll maintain buildings, respond to service requests, and support property operations to keep residents satisfied.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, EPA certification a plus, and the ability to perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs. Excellent communication with residents and vendors is essential.

• Maintenance experience preferred, especially in multifamily housing.
• HVAC knowledge required; EPA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities.
• Complete service requests & apartment turns.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls.
• Maintain inventory of supplies & equipment.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Maintenance experience (Multifamily Housing preferred)
• HVAC knowledge required; EPA Certification a plus
• Skilled in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general repairs
• Pool maintenance experience & CPO Certification is a plus
• Reliable transportation & basic tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team
• Comfortable with outdoor property walks and physical tasks
