AIR Communities in Douglasville, GA is hiring an on-site Maintenance Technician to service our apartment community. You will perform basic repairs, routine maintenance, and unit turns to ensure a great move-in experience for residents.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Proficient in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day weeks, and on-call shifts.
• Reliable transportation to respond to emergencies.
• Comfort with physical activity and moving heavy equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents and assist team members.
• Complete basic apartment turns to prepare units for new residents.
• Perform resident-requested repairs and routine maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
• Potentially train/guide other Maintenance Technicians and support skill development.
• Assist in managing vendor quality and inspections as needed.
• Responsibilities vary by team member skillset and community needs.
