Job summary

AOG Living in Greenville, TX is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to manage upkeep of an apartment community, make-ready units, and preventative maintenance. You will perform appliance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry repairs while upholding safety and mold policies.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, prioritizing tasks with the Lead Maintenance Technician, and preparing vacant units for occupancy. A strong focus on safety and resident support is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of multi-family maintenance experience or equivalent.
• HVAC/Freon Recovery certification or ability to become certified within the first 6 months.
• Training in household repairs, plumbing and mold detection/resolution preferred.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred.
• Must have certifications/permits required by city or state to perform job responsibilities (pool operations).
• Must supply own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Repair/replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC/electrical, and other components as needed.
• Identify and correct hazardous property conditions and follow mold policy.
• Tour property daily to identify deficiencies and report to supervisors.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units; replace air filters.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in and ensure positive presentation of show units.
• Ensure safety and proper operation of pools and gates; maintain clean work areas.
