Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities at a property in Cypress, TX. This role focuses on safety, cleanliness, and functionality in line with Greystar standards.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and help prepare vacant homes for leasing, while following established procedures and safety guidelines. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certifications are required, with bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Incumbents must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Incumbents must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on the property size, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and materials sourcing.
• Tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests to enable proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds and amenities; cleans, paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools correctly.
