Property Maintenance Technician – Make-Ready & Repairs

Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to support Cypress Heights and Sycamore Heights properties. You will perform maintenance requests, complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, and manage inventory and vendor coordination to ensure timely, quality work.

You must hold EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver’s license for on-property vehicle use where required. Travel between communities may be needed.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recycling certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinates vendors.
• Tracks inventory and returns unused items to the maintenance department; notifies re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when possible.
