Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus one year of related human services experience.
• NYS driver’s license may be required for some assignments.
• Experience with adults with mental illness and/or substance use preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to residents in daily living and community integration.
• Report serious incidents and complete incident reports per policy.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, nutrition, and attire.
• Inspect apartment safety, cleanliness, and security during shifts.
• Log observations with supervisors and participate in emergency planning.
• Assist residents to attend medical appointments and treatment.
• Assist with housekeeping and maintaining a safe, healing environment.
• Attend team meetings and comply with trainings.
