Job summary

Crawford Hoying is seeking a Leasing Consultant to lease apartment homes and maintain high occupancy at an assigned community. You will respond to rental inquiries using sales techniques and approved marketing material, while delivering exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and coworkers.

The role emphasizes on-site interaction, teamwork, and a professional appearance, with weekend hours and flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

Experience in sales or customer service environment.
Strong customer service orientation and dedication to meet/exceed expectations.
Basic math and computer skills.
Working knowledge of property management software or ability to learn.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to develop rapport with people.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Greet prospective residents and present available apartment homes; highlight features and benefits; handle inquiries and complete guest cards.
Enter guest cards and applicants into the system; prepare leases and renewal applications; assist with verification and notify prospects of results.
Monitor accounts receivable and delinquencies; assist with turnover activities; prepare daily/weekly reports and resident communications.
Assist in handling resident issues and service requests; maintain professional and friendly leasing office environment; perform other duties as assigned.
