Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring an Apartment Leasing Consultant for Grandridge Apartments in Omaha. The role focuses on apartment rentals, lease administration, and resident relations, with an emphasis on sales and closing leases.

Experience in multifamily housing and Yardi is valuable, and bilingual skills are a plus. The position offers competitive pay ($18–$20 per hour) with uncapped commission per lease, plus robust benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule with some weekend

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in multi-family housing.
• Must have demonstrated computer skills and be able to navigate industry software.
• Basic knowledge of local, state, and federal resident/property management laws/guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Willing to complete online class training required by Monarch.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets, assists, and attempts to lease apartments to all prospective residents.
• Maintain knowledge of leasing techniques, sales methods, and Monarch policies.
• Ensure model apartments and target units are ready for showing.
• Report market surveys and competitive results to Property Manager.
• Maintain curb appeal of the property.
• Process rental applications and prepare lease documents for signing.
• Maintain resident files in Yardi and update the Property Information Handbook.
• Support daily marketing efforts and outreach efforts to attract residents.

We are currently hiring a full-time ApartmentLeasing Consultant

Join our team at Grandridge Apartments in Omaha. Experience in leasing, Yardi and being bilingual is a plus-Come make an impact at Monarch and see how fast you grow with us!

PAY: $18-20 per hour depending on experience + up to $100 per lease for commission, uncapped (Huge commissions to be made at this 470-apartment community!)
SCHEDULE:Monday-Friday 8-5pm, Saturday 10-4 (must be able to work every other Saturday)

We are looking for an Apartment Leasing Consultant with experience in property management, multifamily housing, and residential leasing. The role involvesapartment rentals, lease administration, and tenant relations, with a strong focus on resident retention, customer service, and sales & closing leases. Daily responsibilities include conducting property tours, processing rental applications, and managing prospect follow‑up while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws and staying informed on market trends. Proficiency in property management software and a passion forleasing, community marketing, and delivering an exceptional resident experience are essential.

The Day to Day of Leasing Agents:

• Greets, assists, and attempts to lease apartments to all prospective residents who enter the community.
• Responsible for thorough knowledge of leasing techniques, sales methods, and policies and procedures of Monarch Investment and Management Group.
• Ensures appearance of the “model” apartment/s and target apartments are acceptable for showing
• Responsible for reporting to Property Manager market survey reports and shopping competition results
• Must be aware of the “Curb Appeal” of the property
• Accepts and completes required application information from the prospective residents.
• Creates all lease documents and facilitates getting all parties to sign where required
• Maintains all resident files both physical and digital in YARDI
• Maintains and updates Property Information Handbook and Advertising Log Book.
• Utilizes required telephone etiquette and techniques.
• Producing a daily “Hot Sheet” on current rental rates, sizes, locations, and all amenities of the property.
• Assists Property Manager in ensuring all property marketing is current, accurate and relevant
• Responsible for daily marketing efforts through Craigslist and/or other outreach
• Contacts and follows-up with all apartment locator services and local business to provide informational materials.
• Assists Assistant Property Manager in building and maintaining a resident relation program
• Consistent and sustained adherence to Monarch Professional Behavioral Standards
• Additional assignments and projects as needed
