Adara Communities in Tampa, FL is seeking an Apartment Leasing Agent to drive leasing activity at Newport Apartments (320 units). You will greet prospects, qualify leads, close leases, verify applications, and ensure accurate paperwork while delivering top-notch resident service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leasing conventional apartments (REQUIRED).
• Strong sales, leasing, and closing abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule with weekends required.
• Social media or marketing content creation experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Candidate lives within a 20-mile radius of the property or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Greet, qualify, and close prospects professionally.
• Lease apartments to maintain high occupancy and strong performance.
• Verify applications and process leasing paperwork accurately.
• Provide exceptional resident and prospect service.
• Generate traffic through outreach and community engagement.
• Host resident functions and maintain positive relations.

What You'll Do as an Apartment Leasing Agent:

We're looking for an experienced and energetic Leasing Agent who is self-motivated, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. In this role, you will:

• Stand, greet, qualify, and close prospects with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Lease apartments to maintain high occupancy and strong leasing performance
• Verify applications, process leasing paperwork, and ensure accurate documentation
• Provide exceptional customer services to residents and prospects
• Generate new traffic through outreach efforts and community engagement
• Host resident functions and contribute to maintaining positive resident relations
• Create and maintain the property's social media presence to drive traffic and engagement
• Support the Property Manager and/or Leasing Manger with daily operational tasks
• Represent the community with a friendly and professional demeanor

What We're Looking For in the Apartment Leasing Agent:

To be successful in this role, you MUST have:

• Minimum 2Year(s) previous experience leasing conventional apartments (REQUIRED)
• Strong sales and leasing skills with a proven ability to close
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and a polished and professional appearance
• Flexible schedule - weekends REQUIRED
• Social media or marketing content creation experience strongly preferred
• Stable work history
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.
