Adara Communities is seeking an Apartment Leasing Agent for our Shadowood community. The role focuses on greeting, qualifying, and closing prospects while leasing apartments to maintain high occupancy.

You will verify applications, process leasing paperwork, and deliver exceptional customer service to residents and prospects. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of leasing experience, strong sales ability, and a polished appearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year leasing experience for conventional apartments.
• Strong sales and leasing skills with ability to close.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Positive attitude with flexibility and professional appearance.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stand, greet, qualify, and close prospects professionally.
• Lease apartments to maintain high occupancy and performance.

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects.
• Generate new traffic through outreach and community engagement.

What You’ll Do as an Apartment Leasing Agent:

We're looking for an experienced and energetic Leasing Agent who is self-motivated, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. In this role, you will:

• Stand, greet, qualify, and close prospects with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Lease apartments to maintain high occupancy and strong leasing performance
• Verify applications, process leasing paperwork, and ensure accurate documentation
• Provide exceptional customer services to residents and prospects
• Generate new traffic through outreach efforts and community engagement
• Host resident functions and contribute to maintaining positive resident relations
• Create and maintain the property's social media presence to drive traffic and engagement
• Support the Property Manager and/or Leasing Manger with daily operational tasks
• Represent the community with a friendly and professional demeanor

What We’re Looking For in the Apartment Leasing Agent:

To be successful in this role, you MUST have:

• Minimum 1+Year(s) previous experience leasing conventional apartments (REQUIRED)
• Strong sales and leasing skills with a proven ability to close
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and a polished and professional appearance
• Flexible schedule – weekends REQUIRED
• Social media or marketing content creation experience strongly preferred
• Stable work history
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.
