Adara Communities is seeking an Apartment Leasing Agent in Houston to join a resident-focused team. You will greet prospects, qualify leads, and close leases to maintain high occupancy while delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of leasing experience, strong sales and communication skills, and a professional appearance. Weekend availability and a valid driver's license are required, with relocation considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience leasing conventional apartments (required)
• Strong sales and leasing skills with a proven ability to close
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Polished and professional appearance
• Flexible schedule with weekends required
• Social media or marketing content creation experience preferred
• Stable work history
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Candidates must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate

Responsibilities

• Stand, greet, qualify, and close prospects with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Lease apartments to maintain high occupancy and strong leasing performance
• Verify applications and process leasing paperwork
• Provide exceptional customer services to residents and prospects
• Generate new traffic through outreach and engagement
• Host resident functions and maintain positive resident relations
• Create and maintain the property's social media presence to drive traffic
• Support the Property Manager with daily operational tasks
• Represent the community with a friendly and professional demeanor

What You’ll Do as an Apartment Leasing Agent:

We're looking for an experienced and energetic Leasing Agent who is self-motivated, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. In this role, you will:

• Stand, greet, qualify, and close prospects with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Lease apartments to maintain high occupancy and strong leasing performance
• Verify applications, process leasing paperwork, and ensure accurate documentation
• Provide exceptional customer services to residents and prospects
• Generate new traffic through outreach efforts and community engagement
• Host resident functions and contribute to maintaining positive resident relations
• Create and maintain the property's social media presence to drive traffic and engagement
• Support the Property Manager and/or Leasing Manger with daily operational tasks
• Represent the community with a friendly and professional demeanor

What We’re Looking For in the Apartment Leasing Agent:

To be successful in this role, you MUST have:

• Minimum 1+Year(s) previous experience leasing conventional apartments (REQUIRED)
• Strong sales and leasing skills with a proven ability to close
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and a polished and professional appearance
• Flexible schedule – weekends REQUIRED
• Social media or marketing content creation experience strongly preferred
• Stable work history
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.
