Qualifications

• HVAC certification with 2–4 years of hands-on experience.
• 2–4 years experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience with grounds management, property upkeep, and quality control in multifamily or commercial properties.
• Current CPO certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership abilities.
• Ability to travel approximately 2 days per month.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word, plus service-ticket systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee routine and emergency maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related building systems.
• Lead, train, and support maintenance team members while assigning work and ensuring timely completion of service requests.
• Oversee the make-ready process for vacant units, maintaining high standards for quality and efficiency.
• Conduct routine property inspections and proactively identify maintenance, safety, and quality concerns.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, equipment, and supplies and submit purchase requests as necessary.
• Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, professionally, and in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Maintain records of work orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule and respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Communicate professionally with property management, residents, team members, contractors, and vendors.
