Job summary

IDM Companies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team in keeping multifamily communities well-maintained and safe. You will prioritize tasks to deliver an excellent resident experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage on-site repairs, coordinate turnovers, and ensure compliance with health and safety programs while supporting a culture of service and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years relevant maintenance experience required.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work 8-12 hour shifts.
• Must be able to work weekends and be available for on-call emergencies.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds according to community objectives.
• Ensures safe operation and repair of on-site equipment per OSHA policies.
• Performs apartment turnover including painting, carpentry, drywall patching, and make-ready checklists.
• Responds to work orders promptly, including after-hours on-call requests.
• Participates in on-call rotation with the maintenance team.
• Inspects public areas and resident apartments to uphold maintenance standards.
• Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times.
• Adheres to company policies while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Participates in training workshops and safety meetings.
