Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to lead and motivate a maintenance team at a multifamily community. You will coordinate repairs, manage service requests, and maintain properties to high standards while supporting leasing goals.

The role includes hiring, training, and developing staff, with potential involvement of painters and landscaping personnel. A strong HVAC background and valid license are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal license required.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent required; related maintenance education is a plus.
• Driver’s license from the state of residence required.
• 1–3 years of Supervisory experience preferred.
• Florida CAMT license may be required for Florida locations at hire or during licensing opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the maintenance team to repair and maintain property facilities and apartment units.
• Provide prompt and courteous responses to service requests.
• Ensure market-ready apartments meet leasing demand and standards for appearance.
• Assist with hiring, training, and development of maintenance staff including painters and landscaping.
