Adara Communities is seeking an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician for our Avenues at Creekside community in Texas. You will handle daily service requests, assist with unit make-readies, and perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliances, and pool upkeep.

You'll work closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician, maintain a safe, clean community, participate in on-call rotation, and use your own tools while delivering excellent resident and coworker service.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience in multifamily properties (REQUIRED).
Valid HVAC license (REQUIRED).
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairs.
Good troubleshooting and time-management abilities.
Personal set of basic hand tools; on-call willingness.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do as an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:

We're looking for an experienced Assistant Maintenance Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. In this role, you will:

What We're Looking For in an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:

Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Working Environment for the Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
