Job summary

Adara Communities is seeking an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician for The Park at Knightsbridge in Riverview, FL. The role focuses on timely service requests, unit make-readies, and general maintenance in a fast-paced community.

You will work with a team, support upgrades, and help keep outdoor and indoor areas safe and well-maintained while delivering strong resident service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years apartment maintenance experience in multifamily communities.
• Valid HVAC license is required.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools and general repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and manage time effectively.
• Own basic hand tools and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with completing daily service requests for residents.

What You'll Do as an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:

We're looking for an experienced Assistant Maintenance Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. In this role, you will:

• Assist with completing daily service requests for residents
• Support the team with unit make-readies and apartment upgrades
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and pool repair/upkeep
• Work closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician on assigned projects
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning community
• Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
• Use and maintain your own tools in a professional manner
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and coworkers

What We're Looking For in an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:

• Minimum 2Yearsapartment maintenance experience in the multifamily industry (REQUIRED)
• Valid HVAC License REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairs
• Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities
• A personal set of basic hand tools
• Willingness to work on-call as scheduled
• A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Working Environment for the Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
