Job summary

Adara Communities is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician for our Windrush property. This role oversees maintenance staff, completes service requests, coordinates make-readies, and supports the Property Manager on various projects.

Candidates must have 2+ years in multifamily maintenance, a valid HVAC certification, a driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in multifamily housing.
• HVAC certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Stable work history.
• Personal set of basic hand tools.
• Ability to coach, train, and lead service techs.
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and guide maintenance staff in daily operations.
• Complete and oversee service requests to ensure timely, high-quality results.
• Coordinate and assist with make-readies, upgrades, and maintenance schedules.

Working Environment of the Apartment Maintenance Technician:

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
