Job summary

Adara Communities is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Houston to lead a maintenance team and handle service requests for multifamily housing.

You will coordinate make-readies, upkeep schedules, and unit turns while ensuring safety and quality. A valid HVAC certificate, tools, and a driver’s license are required, with a willingness to relocate within 20 miles if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a maintenance technician in multifamily housing.
• HVAC certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Own basic hand tools and a stable work history.
• Ability to coach, train, and lead service technicians.
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Candidates must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.

What We're Looking For In The Apartment Maintenance Technician

• Valid HVAC Certification REQUIRED

Working Environment Of The Apartment Maintenance Technician

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
