Job summary

Adara Communities in Parks of Addison is seeking an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician to handle daily resident service requests, unit make-readies, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and pool upkeep. You will work with the Lead Technician on projects, maintain safety and cleanliness, and participate in on-call rotations while delivering friendly, professional service.

Candidates must have at least 2 years in multifamily maintenance, a valid HVAC license, own basic tools, and a valid

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years apartment maintenance experience in multifamily industry (REQUIRED).
• Valid HVAC License (REQUIRED).
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities.
• A personal set of basic hand tools.
• Willingness to work on-call as scheduled.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Working Environment for the Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
