Job summary

Adara Communities, located at Parks of Addison in Addison, TX, seeks an experienced Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician to support daily resident requests, unit make-readies, and general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliances, and pool upkeep.

With at least 2 years in multifamily maintenance and a valid HVAC license, you will join a team focused on safety, service, and community excellence. A driver’s license and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 Years apartment maintenance experience in the multifamily industry (REQUIRED)
Valid HVAC License REQUIRED
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairs
Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities
A personal set of basic hand tools
Willingness to work on-call as scheduled
A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Working Environment For The Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
