Job summary

TRM Labs seeks a Global Investigator on the triage team to be the first line of defense in a fast-moving crypto disruption pipeline. You will validate outputs from our AI investigation platform and route cases to the appropriate investigative pipelines, contributing to frozen proceeds and asset seizures.

You will engage in high-priority tasks, trace funds across chains, and ensure clean handoffs for around-the-clock operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of investigative or analytical experience in public or private sector, with hands-on blockchain analysis.
• Experience tracing funds across chains and attributing addresses to real-world actors.
• Experience building or contributing to cases that led to a freeze, seizure, arrest, or takedown.
• Strong AI fluency and ability to use AI tools as a co-pilot while discerning when they are wrong.

Responsibilities

• Validate and route hundreds of complaint dispositions per week to support asset-recovery pipelines.
• Catch AI errors such as false positives and misclassifications before downstream propagation.
• Enrich complaint selectors using a wide range of data-source integrations.
• Trace funds through wallets to exchanges or other actionable endpoints for high-priority cases.
• Own shift handoffs to ensure continuous coverage across time zones.
