Job summary

TRM Labs, a leader in AI-powered blockchain intelligence, seeks a seasoned investigator/analyst to join the Global Investigations Team in the DC area. You will conduct time-sensitive blockchain analyses for partners and develop scalable solutions, collaborating with engineers and data scientists to deliver high-impact intelligence.

The role requires 3–5 years of investigative experience, strong briefing skills, and the ability to structure problems and prioritize critical issues.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years combined experience as investigator/analyst in public or private sector.
• Experience briefing senior leaders within your organization.
• Strong problem structuring and prioritization skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear written/verbal communication.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex cases involving phishing, blockchain exploits, hacks, terrorism finance, money laundering, and other illicit activity.
• Produce insightful reports and deliver briefings to TRM's customers.
• Conduct long-term research on key categories of crime on the blockchain.
• Conduct sensitive investigations for TRM partners.
• Proactively build and manage relationships with industry partners to expand attribution sources.
