Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking a Global Investigator to join the triage team. You will be the first line of operational response in a fast-moving crypto disruption pipeline, processing inbound victim complaints and routing cases into investigative workflows that lead to freezes and recoveries.

You will leverage AI-assisted tools to validate outputs, catch misclassifications, and ensure timely, accurate dispositions in a high-volume environment across North American business hours.

Qualifications

• Investigative or analytical experience in the private or public sector.
• Baseline crypto knowledge and ability to recognize threat types such as investment scams, pig-butchering, and ransomware, with AI-assisted analysis.
• Able to prioritize and work independently, with clear written handoffs, during hours when the rest of the team is offline.
• Receptive to feedback from experienced tracers and engineers, and motivated to improve the triage process.

Responsibilities

• Validate and route hundreds of complaint dispositions each week, feeding a live asset-recovery pipeline that gets stolen funds frozen before they move.
• Use AI first-pass output as a co-pilot and catch errors that matter before they propagate downstream.
• Enrich complaint selectors with data-source integrations and on-/off-chain checks to decide actionability.
• Own clean shift handoffs to keep the US-hours queue moving for the triage team.
