Job summary

Discord seeks a Senior Manager APAC, Developer Solutions to build partnerships with game developers across APAC and drive adoption of Social Layer SDK, Nitro, and commerce offerings. This individual contributor role is based in Singapore and reports to the VP of Developer Solutions, with travel to partners as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of business development, sales or partnerships experience.
• 4+ years in enterprise SaaS/SDK adoption and analytics sales, with game tech experience.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese with strong written and verbal skills.
• Proven track record closing complex enterprise deals.
• Experience sourcing, negotiating, and scaling partnerships with measurable revenue impact.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to define partner value.
• Deep knowledge of the gaming space.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional execution with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-fit games and developers for Discord’s Social Layer SDK, commerce, and Nitro offerings.
• Own a territory / book of business with quarterly goals; 25%-50% travel to meet partners face to face.
• Own the sales / deal process from prospecting, qualification, negotiation to close.
• Understand developer monetization needs and tech adoption pathways.
• Build and manage a healthy, predictable pipeline via outbound prospecting and CRM updates.
• Lead strategy, structuring, and negotiation of partnership agreements with clear commercial frameworks.
• Align GTM and execution with Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Executives; remove roadblocks for partner success.
• Collaborate with Customer Success on upsell/cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
