Job summary

Discord seeks a Solutions Architect for the Games team to own end-to-end solution architecture for AAA game developers. You will lead technical discovery, reviews, and integration of Discord’s Social SDK, guiding partners across engines and platforms while mentoring junior engineers.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver scalable, repeatable approaches, build reference architectures, and drive cross-functional partnerships in a global role based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Significant technical experience in game development.
• Direct experience working within a game studio or game ecosystem provider.
• Professional fluency in Mandarin and English, required to lead technical relationships with AAA partners.
• Track record of independently owning complex, multi-month technical projects from architecture through delivery.
• Ability to read, understand, and discuss code across multiple languages.
• Familiarity with game engines (Unity, Unreal) and development toolchains.
• Excellent communication skills translating complex concepts for varied audiences.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining trusted technical relationships with external partners.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity—defining scope where none exists and proposing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions and architectural reviews for customer implementations across Social SDK and Discord tools.
