Job summary

Michael Page Australia is seeking an experienced Business Insights Manager to lead reporting, analytics and decision-support initiatives across APAC. You will drive BI strategy, design robust data models, and partner with senior stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights that influence commercial outcomes.

You will oversee the development of KPI frameworks, collaborate with operations, finance, sales and technology, and mentor a data team to foster a data-driven culture

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics or a related data role.
• Advanced proficiency with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling and report optimisation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Record of delivering actionable insights that influence business strategy and performance.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across senior stakeholders.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including operations, finance and sales.
• Leadership/coaching or mentoring experience.
• Proactive, curious mindset with focus on continuous improvement and AI/automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead BI, reporting and analytics across the APAC region.
• Develop, maintain and optimise Power BI dashboards, reports and KPI frameworks.
• Translate data into actionable insights for senior leaders.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Sales, Customer Success, Product and IT to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design and manage data models ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Utilise SQL, DAX and Power Query to transform and visualise data from multiple sources.
• Establish and monitor key business metrics with regular reporting and trends.
• Drive data governance and best practices across the organisation.
• Lead, mentor and develop a Data Analyst to build a high-performing team.
• Explore AI tools to improve reporting efficiency and decision support.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis with data insights.
