Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking an AP Vendor Master Data Clerk in Wheatland, PA to maintain vendor master data across Pipe & Tube systems. You will support vendor onboarding, record maintenance, regulatory reporting, and Accounts Payable operations, ensuring policy and audit compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma with accounting or business coursework preferred, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, vendor master data management, or accounting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of internal controls, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain vendor master records in Pipe & Tube systems.
• Process vendor additions, updates, and changes in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
• Ensure all vendor documentation is properly approved, retained, and audit-ready.
• Maintain consistency of shared vendor records across systems, including payment terms and payment methods.
• Review inactive vendors and block or flag for deletion when unused for two years to reduce risk.
• Support annual 1099 and 1042 reporting processes for all Pipe & Tube entities.
• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable during vacations and peak workload periods.
• Provide backup support for Concur and Bank of America administrator responsibilities as needed.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
