Job summary

Aquarius Staffing is seeking an AP Supervisor to lead a small team and drive accuracy in accounts payable processes. You will manage 3-4 AP staff, work with field operations and vendors, and oversee 1099s, leases, and rent payments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years AP experience, with strong Excel and exposure to JDEdwards, Tronitech or Lease Query preferred. A reliable self-starter who improves processes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 3-4 AP staff and coordinate with vendors.
• Assist in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Perform 1099 build, review and filing.
• Lease setup and ASC842 LeaseQuery updates.
• Process rent payments and set up new vendors.
• Set up ACH for employees and vendors.
• Split Tronitech image batches and process invoices.
• Prepare check runs and ACH files, release with bank.
• Handle voids, garnishments and ACH returns.
• Investigate positive pay and uncashed checks.

What you will be doing as the AP Supervisor:

• Supervise 3-4 individuals and interact extensively with other Accounts Payable Representatives located in various field operations as well as outside vendors
• Assist in a fast paced, high-volume, team-oriented environment
• 1099 build, review, correction, filing
• Leases setup, review and update to ASC842 LeaseQuery
• Responsible for processing rent payments
• New vendor setup
• ACH setup and verification - employees and vendors
• Splitting Tronitech imaged batches and invoice processing
• Check run, ACH files including sending and releasing with the bank
• Voids, Garnishments and ACH returns
• Positive pay and uncashed check research

What you will need as the AP Supervisor:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of AP experience.
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel will be valuable.
• JDEdwards, Tronitech or Lease Query exposure is desirable.
• Reliable, self-starter who takes ownership of a process or function with a view to making on-going improvements.
