Job summary

LHH US is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a 100% on-site role in Paramus, NJ. The position is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity with typical daytime hours and a salary range provided for permanent conversion.

You will process vendor invoices, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure timely, accurate entries in the accounting system while promoting efficient payment schedules. This role emphasizes accuracy and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Full-cycle accounts payable experience required.
• Experience handling high-volume invoice processing.
• Proficiency with accounting systems; Sage Intacct is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills for vendor interaction.

Responsibilities

• Process approximately 400 invoices per month.
• Review invoices for accuracy and proper approvals.
• Enter invoice data into the accounting system.
• Reconcile accounts payable records to prevent duplicate or missing payments.
• Manage payment schedules in accordance with vendor terms.
• Issue payments via checks, credit cards, and bank transfers.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Communicate directly with vendors to address inquiries.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency.

Accounts Payable Specialist (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)

Location: Paramus, New Jersey

Schedule & Compensation

• 100% on-site, Monday-Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Salary upon permanent conversion: $60,000 - $65,000

Position Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices while maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage a steady volume of transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process approximately 400 invoices per month
• Review invoices for accuracy and proper approvals
• Enter invoice data into the accounting system
• Reconcile accounts payable records to prevent duplicate or missing payments
• Manage payment schedules in accordance with vendor terms
• Issue payments via checks, credit cards, and bank transfers
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Communicate directly with vendors to address inquiries
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency
