Job summary

Optim Recruiting is seeking an AP Specialist to join a connected, high‑performing accounting team. The role is fully remote with occasional in‑person meetups and is built for someone who can work independently, move fast, and know exactly what they’re looking at when a construction invoice lands in front of them.

You will own high‑volume AP tasks, including 3‑way matching, coding to jobs and GL codes, pricing discrepancy investigations, and timely invoice scheduling for payment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of full-cycle AP experience in construction
• Solid job costing knowledge - job vs. overhead coding
• Detail-oriented and solution-focused - you flag problems and help find the answer
• Coachable, team-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment
