Job summary

The University of Toronto’s Facilities and Real Estate Division is seeking an AP Manager to lead a team of AP specialists, ensure timely invoice processing, maintain strong vendor relationships, and enforce PO documentation policies. This role supports financial accuracy and compliance with division and university directives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field or equivalent
• Professional accounting designation required (e.g. CGA, CPA, CMA, CA)
• Experience in AP supervisory role in higher education or large public sector preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounts payable function and manage a team of AP specialists.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and maintain vendor relationships.
• Ensure PO documentation is compliant with policies and implement best practices.
• Support compliance and audit activities and provide AP analysis and recommendations.
• Oversee staff training and development and contribute to system development and maintenance.
