Job summary

Sci Corp is seeking an Accounts Payable Operations Specialist to lead AP Invoice Processing and AP Support, serving as a senior escalation point for complex issues and ensuring timely, accurate processing. You will collaborate with AP leadership, vendors, and internal partners to strengthen controls and improve service levels.

You will oversee workflow, process improvements, and training needs, promoting consistency across AP functions and supporting the overall effectiveness of AP operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/related field or 4+ years in AP/finance operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AP operations, invoice processing, reconciliation and customer/vendor support.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating cross-functional activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership across AP Invoice Processing and AP Support.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex invoice, payment, reconciliation and customer/vendor issues.
• Monitor workflow, SLAs, priorities, and assist with resource allocation.
• Identify operational risks and opportunities for improvement with AP leadership.
• Provide coaching and development to team leads and AP associates.
• Support audits, controls, documentation, and compliance activities.
