Job summary

CFS is seeking an AP/AR Specialist in Clackamas, OR to join our accounting team. The role focuses on processing invoices, managing accounts payable, and handling customer invoicing with attention to accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of general accounting experience, experience with AP/AR cycles, and an understanding of construction accounting. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO/holidays, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general accounting experience.
• Construction accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of AP and AR processes.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and manage accounts payable transactions.
• Handle customer invoicing, cash applications, and accounts receivable.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collections.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations.
• Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate vendor and customer records.
• Prepare AP/AR reports and support month-end close.
• Assist with payment processing and vendor inquiries.
• Work with project teams and internal departments to resolve accounting issues.
• Support additional accounting projects as needed.
