We are partnering with a globally recognized, publicly traded manufacturing company to identify an experienced AP/AR Manager to join its North Austin team. The AP/AR Manager will oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, lead a team of accounting professionals, and drive process improvements to support accurate, efficient financial operations across a global business.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, collections, and reconciliations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the AP/AR team, establishing clear priorities, performance expectations, and best practices.
• Manage vendor relationships, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure timely payments while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Oversee customer invoicing, cash application, collections, and aging reports to support working capital and cash flow objectives.
• Partner with the accounting and finance teams to support month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen internal controls across AP and AR functions.
• Develop and monitor key performance metrics related to payment cycles, collections, outstanding balances, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and other departments to resolve issues and improve workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prior leadership experience overseeing and developing an accounting team.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting processes.
• Experience in a manufacturing or multinational organization is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
