AR/AP Manager | $40-$50/hr DOE | Contract | Onsite | Fort Worth, TX

Our client is looking for an AR/AP Manager to support accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records across receivables, payables, and billing functions. You will play a key role in ensuring timely processing, strong financial controls, and smooth day-to-day accounting activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, can adapt to changing priorities, and takes pride in accuracy and customer service.

Who You Are

• Experience managing both accounts receivable and accounts payable processes in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Hands-on experience with Sage 100 or a similar ERP/accounting platform
• Familiarity with electronic invoicing and customer/vendor portal systems
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, GAAP fundamentals, and internal controls
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a highly collaborative team environment

What You'll Do

• Generate and distribute invoices while ensuring billing accuracy and timely payment collection
• Monitor outstanding balances and communicate with customers regarding payment status and account inquiries
• Process vendor invoices, expense allocations, and payment-related transactions
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer and vendor accounting questions
• Maintain accurate financial records and support compliance with established accounting procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate billing activities and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as needed

Compensation

Compensation is determined by several factors including skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $40-$45 per hour, with potential consideration of $75-$85 per hour for candidates bringing manager-level experience.
