Job summary

KSA Lighting & Controls is seeking an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist to manage AP/AR processes, reconcile accounts, and support month-end close in Itasca, IL. The ideal candidate will excel in Excel data analysis, be proficient with QuickBooks, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills.

This is a hybrid role requiring four days on site and one day remote, 8–5.

Qualifications

• Must have proven accounting/finance experience with AP/AR focus.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks.

Overview Join our dynamic organization as an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist! 4 days onsite required - 1 day remote: 8-5 PM: Excellent figure aptitude and communication skills a must. Duties

• Manage portions of accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice entry, payment processing, and collection activities
• Reconcile accounts regularly using a customized MRP
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Utilize Excel data analysis, formulas, and spreadsheets to review account activity, identify discrepancies, and prepare detailed reports
• Process sales team expense reports
• Support month-end closing activities
• Assist with governmental accounting procedures and audits as needed Experience
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on accounts payable and receivable management
• Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software
• Demonstrated ability to perform Excel data analysis using formulas and pivot tables for detailed account review
• Experience with collections account management and customer service related to billing inquiries
• Knowledge of governmental accounting standards is a plus but not required
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for account reconciliation and analysis tasks
• Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette for client interactions - Communication via email and phone conversation
• Ability to handle data entry accurately while managing multiple priorities

Pay

$73,527.49 - $77,175.06 per year
