Job summary

Atlanta Beltline, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Coordinator to oversee all payables to vendors and receivables from customers and funding partners. You will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and work with the Finance Team to ensure accurate processing and timely close.

Qualifications

• Expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Understanding of the accounting cycle and month-end close
• Knowledge of GL coding structures and financial reporting impacts
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and drive process improvements
• Experience with ERP systems, workflow tools, or automation projects preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Professional demeanor and confidentiality in financial matters

Responsibilities

• Process, code, and distribute invoices and billings with deadlines and internal controls
• Monitor approval workflows and follow up to ensure timely processing
• Assist with payment processing, vendor records, and communications
• Prepare customer billings based on active agreements and follow up on receivables
• Reconcile AP/AR general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Collaborate with staff, partners, auditors, and external stakeholders
• Support process improvements, automation, and system integrations
• Maintain documentation and training materials for consistency and control
• Maintain security and compliance with accounting policies and retention rules
• Demonstrate attention to detail and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
